What are the steps to follow while installing a kitchen faucet?
Step 1 – Make sufficient space under the sink, removing everything underneath the kitchen sink. Also, check for the number of holes in the previous one.
Step 2 –Stop the water flow at the supply valves of the kitchen faucet, turning the taps clockwise until the end. Position the faucet for releasing the water pressure.
Step 3 – Disconnect the water supply lines and remove the old faucet and remove the nut via adjustable wrench, turning them counterclockwise.
Step 4 – Unscrew the previous kitchen faucet under the sink, using a screwdriver. Pull the existing faucet through the top of the kitchen sink.
Step 5 – Clean the hidden dirt or residues under the old kitchen faucet with the towel to put muscle inside.
Step 7 – Feed the new kitchen faucet at the top of the sink through the hole, securing the new faucet. Test the water supply valves to make sure that supply valves are functioning as expected.
